How equine peptide research is framed in the literature

Equine sports medicine is one of the most developed fields in veterinary research. Decades of published work characterise tendon and ligament composition, synovial-fluid biology, cartilage metabolism, and the systemic physiology of the performance horse. Within that broader corpus, peptides appear repeatedly — examined in preclinical and in-vitro studies for their roles in connective-tissue cell behaviour, angiogenic signalling, and the resolution of exercise-induced inflammation.

BPC-157 and TB-500 are the peptides most frequently cited across equine soft-tissue research literature. GHK-Cu appears in dermal and extracellular-matrix work.
